Associate Accountant

As an Associate Accountant for our rapidly growing company, you will deliver accurate full-suite accounting and bookkeeping services to a wide range of clients. We are looking for an intrinsically motivated problem-solver who values teamwork and impact. What you would be helping us with:
Entering transactions for assigned clients using various software platforms.
Responding to requests from assigned clients on general accounting needs (i.e. creating custom reports).
Preparing reconciliations (i.e. bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, general ledger accounts, etc.).
Preparing monthly financial reports for assigned clients.
Establishing, documenting, and evaluating internal processes for the best client experience.
Qualifications:
Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or similar field such as finance or business administration, or have at least 3 months of accounting/bookkeeping experience
Energized by working with nonprofit organizations
Willing to learn new software and skills
Able to communicate in a conscientious and inclusive way, both verbally and in writing
Detail oriented
Able to draw on both critical thinking skills and intuition to solve problems
Intrinsically motivated to succeed
Humble and willing to ask for help
Have experience with Quickbooks Online or another accounting system, preferred
What Success Looks Like in the First 60 Days:
Like we mentioned above, we’ll provide you with all the support and training you need to crush your goals inside the workplace. For this role, this means that within 60 days, we will prepare you to:
Deliver accurate and timely financial statements to clients.
Ensure accounting files are maintained and accurate for clients and internal use.
Ensure we maintain open and responsible communication with clients.
Be an ambassador for The Charity CFO, externally and internally.
